We are sensitive to the time constraints inherent in this work, and respond accordingly to such assignments, supplementing necessary new research with reliance upon internal resources that we have collected and developed through our many years of coverage experience.

Our reporting system allows us to prove status and strategy reports with the regularity and frequency preferred by each client. We recognize the importance of keeping our clients advised of important matters as they arise and of collaborating with our clients on strategy in a timely manner.

As a national or lead counsel, we are responsible for day-to-day management and handling of large, complex litigations. In conjunction with the client, we plan and prepare case strategy conduct and respond to discovery, draft all pleadings and briefs, conduct site and other case investigations, present oral argument at hearings, participate in settlement negotiations and if settlement efforts prove unavailing, try the case to successful conclusion.

We are experienced in evaluating bad faith and extra-contractual liability claims asserted against insurers. We represent insurers in trials and appeals of bad faith actions involving allegations of inadequate investigation; unreasonable failure to defend or indemnify; unfair or improper claims handling; and unfair settlement practices or failure to settle. RSG lawyers have been successful in defeating such claims and in limiting recovery of damages, including punitive damages and attorney fees.
